Phantom The Seawing

    Continuing from previous post, Phantom is an Animus Seawing Dragon that lived for how long he have remembered. Maybe even longer before the Darkstalker Event. Phantom has a real name Coast and he have a wife named Shoreline The Seawing. Phantom is around 18 years old in Dragon years. He's also a teacher in the School of Animus Magic and is a master in "Spells of Space and Dimension". Phantom is the fourth to connect and joint with my universe

Writer's Note : //In the Universe of Wings of Fire, there's no School of Animus Magic. It's from my own story that maybe I'll make it's own blog to explain anything about that school and my own understanding about the Animus magic potential. And Dragon years is also different thatn human years. Dragon years is a bit longer than human. For example in Dragon years 10 years old means 18 years for human to be considered as adult.

And because this is indeed my own character creation and doesn't came from the story books. So the story will be a bit longer because of my freedom to compose the story however I see fit. Hope you are strong enough to read it haha//

Beginning of the Story

    First time I met Phantom is when I was on my adventure with my friend Nightwind The Ice-Nightwing into a cave that located between two place. That is east from the event of  "Under the Mountain : Dragonet of Prophecy" and to the West from "Diamond Spray Delta". At the end of the exploration, me and Nightwind found a scroll that is lying on an aktar and it looked so out of place. That scroll really stands out from the other objects. Of course my adventurer intuition told me that scroll must be the treasure of this cave. Without thinkin for too long me and Nightwind lean closer into the Scroll and then we opened it. After it's opened we both saw that the scroll is scribled in dragons and some symbols in the middle of it with a weird glowing light. The symbol is a circle that's not too big and near that circle there's some faded line that somewhat roughly drawn a big hands. And so I told Nightwind to try put his hand into the scroll with me. After that we bot found ourselves in a foreign region that is filled with blue background that stretches to no end.

    With curiosity me and Nightwind walk around that area without having a thought that we both are in fact trapped, because we are distracted with the view. Not long after walking to who knows where, we found a white dragon that is asleep with it's head and tails all closed like a cat that turn themselves into a ball. Me and Nightwind could not believe on what we both just saw but after that we try to brave ourselves up to get more closer. When it's closed enough we can identify that the dragon is in fact a Seawing. Nightwind tries to start a conversation with him and the Seawing responded to it kindly and friendly. And that is the first time how I met with phantom

    Phantom told us that he has been trapped for so long that he didn't even remember how long he has been in that place. He also said that he's an Animus dragon. Of course me and Nightwind suddenly shocked to hear an Animus dragon so easily shares their secret to us. Phantom also said he cannot leave this projected space because the spell that is placed in the scroll requires a sacrifices to take his place and it cannot be countered with any kind of Animus magic. Even so Phantom have an idea to connect his consciousness with mine. That way he can see the outside world without the need to wind a replacement. But unknowingly, his connection not only connected to me in this Universe but also in my original Universe. Because of that Phantom is now connected to my universe and he can go anywhere now.

Present Condition

    Phantom now lives inside my body. He do some works like monitoring my body condition, check my body stablity, regulating my mental state, sorting and tidying up my memories, and many more work that takes care of my body. As a connected consciousness with mine, he can exploit my imagination power which means he can indeed take control of my own body to his will. At first i was worried with this fact, but the longer i get to know him our friendship became closer and i don't feel fear no more. That kind of power is only used when maybe I'm not fit to do any activities or too tired to do stuff. So sometimes he only do that so that I can rest. After knowing that the rest of the world has changed and after knowing how has long passed he realize that his wine is already gone too, he doesn't have any spirit to keep living. But even so, because Phantom is still alive he vow to always support and help the lives of present and my own life rather than trapped by his own past.

    Now that Phantom is connected to my consciousness, and because my universe is based on imgination Phantom can use my imagination power to do many things. He can get out from my body and materialize himself in front of me, to touch, to hear all the stuff in the environment. and even a Transformation, or even he can play with fire. He's also the inventor of my H.UI Network (Holographic User Interface) that is used by everyone in my universe with all the feature that is user friendly and really useful for everyday activities. Also it's possible to travel between Universe and to create a new feature depending on his imagination.

Writer's Note : // The H.UI explanation is really unique. It should've had it's own blog. This thing actually a multi function tools that can do things like chatting, storing item digitally, opening portal to do travel, a memory viewer, and many stuff too including taking a screenshot on a memory, a video call, gps, browsing, and many more yang the modern world actually used. It also fileld with any sci-fi idea that may seem a bit unique and different, but also useful in a way. It's slogan's are "Empowered by imagination". H.UI can do anything, but what it can do is limited so that it's not too overpowered. And there's some kind of rule about H.UI where it cannot open a portal to the Wings of Fire Universe. This is the thing that I still cannot explain yet. It's the reason why my memories in that Universe did not synchronize with my in my own original Universe.//

    As an Animus dragon, Phantom said something that debunked a myth where it is said that the Soul of an Animus will lost a part  of their soul when casting a spell. What he can translate is that the more spell that is casted the more the user will realize the potential of the Animus magic is limitless. And because of that Animus magic can either be destructive or protective. And this spell is only limited to the words that is spoken or the will of the user itself and that's what he called as "Wordcraft". The more specific the spell is the more accurate the results will be. The academy taught them that for every spell that is used it has to be limited on it's usage and the user must be able to hold their own will to use it so that they don't too depend on it. No matter how lazy they are, for whatever reason they only must use it when it's necessary. Because of that Animus magic is only used as a final option

Writer's Note : // This part should have been in the School of Animus Magic. But I'm sure because it will still be a long time before I write it, so I put it a bit in here. This is also an idea of mine that maybe the magic rules that is created in this universe is not that the soul that will be harmed. But it's the user that start to realize it's real ability so that they start to misused it or became dependent on that magic itself. After taking a read about this in the wiki I think i'm wrong about it and it is in fact harm the soul of the user itself. But because this has become like my own universe of Wings of fire so I made a little change with the rule for a bit//

    And for some reason Phantom still have his Animus power even when on the third arc of the story it is said that Animus dragon have lost it's magic power because of a spell that completely destroys it. What's unique is that Phantom is not affected by it at all. Phantom have a thought that maybe because the magic room that he hails to is counted as a different dimension or universe. Or maybe because that time is not moving inside the scroll so that the magic cannot reached him in that place and it will start to affect him once he went out of that scroll.

Writer's Note : //I'm just a bit annoyed that in the story, suddenly Animus magic is gone. So I tried to find a way to explain the plothoole as to why Phantom's Animus magic is not gone. Even thought he did not needed it. He only use the magic from my own imagination power//

Maybe there's a lot more needed to be explained, but because I ran out of topic this is enough for now.
